A Softer Touch in Dentistry Sunday brunch while taking a bite of warm Italian toast...OUCH! a gold crown on my right molar was now sticking to the bread. The following morning I was greeted at MG Dentistry with a glorious sun-rising picture over Lake Michigan and Chicago's "Bean" sculpture in Grant Park and a smiling receptionist. Within a few brief minutes I was ushered into the inner sanctuary of Dr. Maria's dentistry haven, provided a most comfortable patient chair with massaging vibrations, and once again greeted with a smiling face. Protective dark glasses secured, open mouth gently probed--oops a cavity found along with a crown-less tooth--past memories of pain-filled dentists flash through my head reminding me of how much this is going to hurt. Thirty minutes later my teeth are healed experiencing no discomfort thanks to Dr. Maria's professional and skillful magical touch...I'm actually looking forward to my next visit to receive another softer touch in dentistry. Comfortable, friendly dentist visit Dr. Maria Gracias has one of the best dental offices I can imagine. The chairs face Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. You can have the chair's massage function turned on while getting your treatment. The X-rays were the simplest I've ever experienced. And Marcia is always friendly and thorough. Great Service The MG Dental team is friendly and professional. My first appointment was booked over email - a first for me in booking a dentist appointment! - and they responded to my email in about 30 minutes. I had my very first appointment at MG Dentistry on 3-28-11. I went to my previous dentist for 35 years and was nervous about going somewhere else. When I arrived I was met by Anna at the front desk. She was very pleasant, took my coat, had me sign some forms and I was in the chair within 10 mins. I was there for a cleaning and check up. I was very happy with the result. They really strive to make you feel at your best while you are at their facility. I personally feel nervous when at the dentist, i was a little nervous in the beginning but all the attention i was given helped ease my nervousness. I was there to get a teeth whitening so they placed a cheek holder in my mouth but it was very uncomfortable and when i pointed this out they immediately changed it. Had gone to another dentist, but they weren't able to do ortho (had already done my x-rays and cleaning). If you need an orthodontist, then I would recommend MG Dentistry. One Stop Shopping at MG Dentistry
People must think I am nuts when I tell them that I am so excited to go to the dentist. I really am! Going to get my teeth cleaned at MG Dentistry is like going to have lunch with a friend. The whole experience is relaxing, from the minute I pull up in my car downtown on Wabash St. for valet parking in front of the building(only $9.00)to getting off the elevator and seeing thru the MG Dentistry Glass double doors overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. The receptionist is so welcoming. I hope they make me wait a minute or two so that I have a chance to take a moment and relax in the white leather Le Corbusier chairs and flip through a magazine to decompress a little from the day. This is just the beginning.... When I go into the area where the hygienist cleans my teeth the chair has a message option with rollers that roll up and down my back and also they give me the option of wearing earphones to listen to music. The dental couldn't be nicer and takes such special care. Then she enters the room...MARIA GRACIAS the most gorgeous wonderful dentist you can imagine. Maria is one of those people who has the warmest presence and lights a room when she enters. You can tell by her clientele that she caters to everyone of all ages. My father in law used to love the day that he could go to see Maria Gracias. He loved that she spoke Spanish and would come and speak Spanish with her. Maria loves her clients and shows it by hosting a picnic in Millennium Park in the summer. Maria also holds raffles in her office once a month and has great gifts. MG Dentistry always has specials on all sorts of services...Invisaline, whitening etc... Maria Gracias didn't stop at just making our teeth healthy and beautiful she has now opened up a Rejuvenation Center at the office. So now MG Dentistry and Rejuvenation Center is "one stop shopping". You can get your teeth cleaned, get Invisalign, get a little Botox or other skin treatments in one visit. Maria Gracias is incredibly genuine and really cares about her patients. I always recommend her to my friends because its a real treat to go to the dentist when you go to MG Dentistry!

Cleaning done right!
Many of us dread our visits to our dentist's office for routine cleaning - but after MANY years of that concern, I have found a hygenist who performs so well that I no longer dread that visit. Marsha, at MG Dentistry, is by far the best hygienist I have ever visited - professional, competent and friendly.....even for those of us who don't floss as frequently as we should. loving the dentist
Never thought I would like going to the dentist but MG dentistry has changed that forever. Everyone is always very curtious and professional. No matter what time of the day you have your appointment you are always greeted with a friendly welcome and the most timely service imaginable. The staff are always willing to answer any questions and give you answers to questions you might not have thought to ask. Everyone does the best they can to make every visit quick and enjoyable. If you don't like the sound of the drill when you are getting a cavity filled you can always turn up the volume on the Ipod they give you to listen to in order to make your visit more enjoyable.

Great procedure; great dental practice!
I went to this practice fo rthe first time to have my teeth whitened. They were ready when I arrived; I probably waitied 2 whole minutes in the waiting room. Everything was explained they went and I was very comfortable with the procedure as a whole. The overhead movies and headphone music was a big bonus. Most people would rather chew glass than go to the dentist. Not me. I've been going to Dr. Gracias for 15 years now and I can honestly say that it's still a pleasure every time. I've had root canals, regular cleanings, veneers, emergency abscesses,cavities galore and clean bills of teeth along the way. Through it all, the experience is always the same: Supremely professional and attentive staff, warm greetings, calm reassurances, and top-notch care. I have never had professional teeth whitening. An offer was made via YGGI for a 1/2 price treatment so I decided to try it. The results were good. I can see an improvement in my teeth. The staff was outstanding and very professional. I have had no subsequent discomfort.

Get Your Teeth Fine Tuned and Stick Around for Great Skin Care Treatments!
Walking into MG Dentistry, immediately one is greeted by a well trained/friendly staff member. My dental needs are extensive and complicated. Dr Gracias has impressed me with her skill levels again and again. To provide the best care for her patients I know Dr G spends much time in continuing educational pursuits. I have neck injuries procured years ago which still cause me great distress; especially during dentistry procedures. Dr Gracias has gone out of her way to find better ways to relax this area and make me comfortable. Before I found MG Dentistry I had disappointing dental experiences in Chicago. After hiding my smile for years, you cannot imagine how wonderful it is to laugh out loud with full confidence. And here's a bonus—the waiting room has one of the best views of Lake Michigan, in the city!!
