Dr. Maria Gracias graduated from the Northwestern University Dental School in 1990, where she went on to teach as a clinical instructor from 1993 – 2001. Today, after twenty years of practice, Dr. Gracias remains at the forefront of her rapidly evolving industry. Her experience and loyalty to patient care sets the standard of customer service far above the rest. Dr. Gracias began studying rejuvenation therapy after her extensive dentistry experience revealed the need for a holistic clinical approach to aesthetic care. Dr. Joshua Grumet is a Michigan native who grew up in the suburban area just outside of Detroit. He completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee. Dr. Grumet continued his dental studies by undergoing a two year post-graduate dental program at Rush University Medical Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.  Dr. Ling Chan was inspired to pursue dentistry by her father, who continues to treat patients after over 40 years of practice. Dr. Chan graduated from the University of Michigan with both her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She has been practicing in Chicago since her graduation in 2005. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the PDL Seattle Study Club through which she continues to learn new aspects and advances within dentistry. Dr. Chan is committed to all aspects of dentistry, particularly cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and pediatric dental care. She believes that a beautiful smile is a reflection of a healthy spirit and that educating her patients about their dental health is a priority to understanding their dental needs. Dr. Chan wants her patients to always feel that they are thoroughly cared for and all their dental needs and wants will be met. She is dedicated to providing a comfortable dental experience.  Dr. Jason McDonald is a Chicago native that has been practicing dentistry for the past 5 years. He received a B.A in Health Promotion from The University of Iowa, and then traveled to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine 2008. Continuing education is very important to Dr. McDonald. He recognizes that technology and the advances in dentistry continue to change over time, and without staying on top of these changes and continuing to learn, there may be better possible treatment options available that we are not aware of. Some of the affiliations and courses that he has been involved with include implant seminars with the Garg Institute, NorthStar Dental Implant courses, various endodontic and root canal focused seminars, Invisalign training, laser certification, and pediatric continuum courses. Dr. McDonald is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.Dr. McDonald loves working with patients of all ages and is committed to making sure each of his patient’s has a comfortable and enjoyable experience. By and large, his favorite thing about dentistry is getting to know the patients on a personal level, making sure he is providing them with the best dental care possible.
Dr. Christopher Zwiercan grew up in the
Northwest suburbs of Chicago. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Biology at
Marquette University, and received his Decorate of Dental Surgery from the
University of Illinois at Chicago. While at UIC, Dr. Zwiercan honed his craft
and he was awarded the "Dr. Gerson Gould and Mr. Sol H. Gould Award"
for “clinical and academic excellence” in recognition of the treatment he
delivered to children, pregnant mothers, and underserved communities at the
Erie Health Center in Humboldt Park and the Northwest Community Health Center. In addition, Dr. Zwiercan has
been actively involved in community service as a tutor, mentor, and volunteer
with Upward Bound, YMCA Mentorship Program, and Campus Kitchen. Since receiving
his D.D.S, Dr. Zwiercan has been practicing dentistry as well as acting as a
clinical instructor at UIC's College of Dentistry. Dr. Zwiercan is known
for his calming chair side manner and is looking forward to helping our
patients maintain a healthy smile.
